Just listened to the podcast. I have listened to all of Marcs podcasts and I have to say you are by far my favorite guest he has ever had! You two were fantastic! I loved your analogy of the open door and spending 30 years of life hitting a wall. I am in a 12 step program and would love to share that, I know it would help alot of people, would that be ok? I was entertained from start to finish - I have even saved it so I can listen again! Thanks Dave!
hey bro. great interview w/maron. BTW i'm 38, a musician (did the WTF theme tune), and i've been a stay-at-home dad for the past 2 years. it gets easier, and the career thing gets more focused. enjoy.
Listening to this podcast right now. Good stuff. Also, around 2 1/2 the little ones get slightly easier. They can actually defy you, but then tell you why they're doing it. :\
just listened to it. Great stuff. Kids are, will be, a great source of material...
I was trying to help my 10 year old with his home work the other day. It didn't go well. Big row. I ended up shouting "do whatever the fuck you want then!" and storming out of the house.
My five year old saw all this and a moment after I slammed the door behind me he turned to my wife and said "are you in charge now mam?"

Dude, good job on WTF. Judy Gold, eh? Who knew?
Ah, thanks. I forgot I told that story. Yeah, not a cool move on her part.
Narcissism, check it out, Judy.
I'd kill the mouse, too. They can carry some nasty stuff.
