My Top Ten Movies Of 2008

1) Slumdog Millionaire

Brilliant juxtaposition of two worlds.

2) The Wrestler

This was a fantastic movie that I related to quite a bit because of my years of doing stand up comedy. People waste away in these professions and it's not always pretty.

3) Punisher: War Zone

Most fun I've had in a movie in a long, long time.

4) The Fall

This movie seemed to slip completely under the radar, but it is great. Absolutely beautiful and unique movie.

5) Speed Racer

Um, no, I'm not kidding. You should have seen it in the theaters. It was very fun.

6) Wall E

Not my favorite Pixar, but still very enjoyable. Wall E really got his shit together.

7) Doubt

I would like to have sex with the dialogue in this movie. Or at the very least, I'd like to take a hot tub with it.

8) Milk

I may be more into this movie than others because I grew up outside of San Francisco and remember these events. Sean Penn was amazing.

9) Step Brothers

Very funny. Gots to have one of those on the list.

10) The Dark Knight

Second best comic book movie of the year. If the director knew how to shoot action, this movie would have been much higher.

I still haven't seen Let The Right One In, so this could change.
