How To Handle Terrorists

Some presidents just get it.

Two of the four leaders allegedly behind the al Qaeda plot to blow up a Northwest Airlines passenger jet over Detroit were released by the U.S. from the Guantanamo prison in November, 2007, according to American officials and Department of Defense documents. Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the Northwest bombing in a Monday statement that vowed more attacks on Americans.

American officials agreed to send the two terrorists from Guantanamo to Saudi Arabia where they entered into an "art therapy rehabilitation program" and were set free, according to U.S. and Saudi officials.

Obama should open up an art farm in the Dakotas somewhere. Just get them painting and making sculptures of cocks and whatnot. I don't see how anything could go wrong.

Just because I still love pointing out the lameness of the rhetoric, in 07 Bush was still on the throne. So as much as the current underdogs will love to cry foul of the current batch of assholes in power for being too soft on the Terror, it is in fact the previous guys who let them out to weave baskets. I guess the point is, there really is no differance between them and them, or then and now.
