Huckabyebye

You can kiss the future of Mike Huckabee goodbye.

Maurice Clemmons, the 37-year-old Tacoma man being sought for questioning in the killing this morning of four Lakewood police officers, has a long criminal record punctuated by violence, erratic behavior and concerns about his mental health.

Well, that's not good. Crazy, violent and now apparently responsible for executing 4 police officers.

Nine years ago, then-Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee granted clemency to Clemmons, commuting his lengthy prison sentence over the protests of prosecutors.

Nice work, Mike.

I caught that piece of information earlier today and I am disgusted by it. This man was sentenced to 96 years in prison for an aggravated robbery in Arkansas only to have his sentence commuted by Huckabee after only 10 years. There were many questions about his mental stability and his likelihood of re-offending. He violated his parole within months and was sent back to prison only to be released in 2004. He should have never been released in the first place. Washington officials just recently allowed him out on bond after he was charged with hitting a cop and child rape, an offense given his history that he should have been held without bond. This man also walked around convinced that he was Jesus. We have 4 dead cops today because this system failed yet again. RIP brothers, your watch is done now.

ummm .. 'sought for quetioning' is not the same as 'found guilty of' ...

it seems that your comment on this event benefits you only a little, but it has the potential to do great harm to two people ... little thing called 'presumption of innocence' which serves us all well

not that i'm saying the guy must be innocent, just that we have no special insight, and from the brief alleged facts reported by you, he isn't even definitely suspected of killing, just wanted for information.

And you fail to mention at all the reports given by relatives that the man's behaviour has been clearly abbarent in a mentally-disturbed way ... your short report on a site named 'stop all monsters' definitely paints the person as a monster, and in reports i examined, he is not yet even named as a suspect. shame on you.

So, how'd that work out "anonymous?"
