Pakistan Can't Handle Prank Phone Calls

If the Jerky Boys lived in Pakistan, everybody would be dead by now.
Pakistani officials said Saturday that a bellicose phone call to President Asif Ali Zardari from India, purportedly placed by the Indian foreign minister, prompted Islamabad to put its air force on high alert before concluding the call was a hoax.

The Nov. 28 call, disclosed for the first time Saturday, came at the height of the three-day siege in Mumbai of luxury hotels and a Jewish center.
This is a dramatic recreation of what probably happened.

India: Do You Have Prince Albert in a can?

Pakistan: Yes.

India. Let him out and we are going to bomb you.
Scary shit, right?
The fallout from the hoax phone call has been real. Not only did Pakistan put its air force on alert. A day later, two security officials told reporters that Pakistani troops fighting the Taliban and al Qaeda along the western border with Afghanistan would be sent east toward India if New Delhi made any moves to mobilize its forces.
There is no hope for either of these countries.
