Joe Lieberman is now realizing his horrible mistake, or he's just continuing to be a douchebag. Now that every Democrat alive wants Joe to suffer for speaking at the Republican Convention, campaigning for down ticket Republicans and saying Obama will be weak on terrorism, he is looking at punishment. In all probability, Joe will lose the chairmanship of his committee. He no likey, so he is responding with a threat.

“Senator Lieberman’s preference is to stay in the caucus, but he’s going to keep all his options open,” a Lieberman aide said. “McConnell has reached out to him and at this stage his position is he wants to remain in the caucus but losing the chairmanship is unacceptable.”
