Female George Bush Gets A Lot Creepier

Now that the press is digging up dirt on the Female George Bush from Alaska, she's actually looking like one of the worst human beings, ever. When she was mayor of Wasilla, she had the police department billing rape victims for their rape kits.

Not really in touch with her feminine side, I guess.

The Frontiersman / May 23, 2000

ANCHORAGE - Gov. Tony Knowles recently signed legislation protecting victims of sexual assault from being billed for tests to collect evidence of the crime, but one local police chief said the new law will further burden taxpayers.

While the Alaska State Troopers and most municipal police agencies have covered the cost of exams, which cost between $300 to $1,200 apiece, the Wasilla police department does charge the victims of sexual assault for the tests.

Wasilla Police Chief Charlie Fannon does not agree with the new legislation, saying the law will require the city and communities to come up with more funds to cover the costs of the forensic exams.

According to Fannon, the new law will cost the Wasilla Police Department approximately $5,000 to $14,000 a year to collect evidence for sexual assault cases.

She is truly a demon.

and it said it was mayor Palin ordering police to charge the victims where?

The article is from 2000. Her term as mayor was from 1996-2002.

Hey little willie, no where did anyone say she ordered this. Are you suggesting she had no idea this kind of thing was going on?

Apparently, from the article, other mayors where aware of the process.

So much for her wonderful mayoralty experience.

t3,
So the policy preceded her time as mayor. Are you suggesting that she is not responsible for things that continued to happen once she became mayor. That's an interesting kind of leadership.

how did they not rise up & kill her when they had the chance?

Right, Little Willie, at no time during the process of the bill going through the state government, did Palin become aware of what was happening.

Really good point.

Hello.

I am linking this to the daily Kos website, which has evidence that this did, indeed, take place.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/9/8/20552/56258?detail=f

The second part of the story was run in the Anchorage paper (forgive me, I don't remember the name) in November of 2003.

Yeah, and dude, you really need to list sources if you're going to post this stuff. The Repugs have paid bloggers than do nothing but hunt down liberal sites and report back to the Furher (Rove? Cheney? Who knows anymore) about the LIES being spread.

We have enough to worry about, and Big O doesn't need bad publicity right now.

Not to harangue ya, dude. Just thought I'd let you know :)

I meant it as a response to little willie; while I was trying to point out that she was indeed responsible for this sort of thing being allowed to continue, although in retrospect I wasn't clear enough. Not that I was trying to prove she "ordered" it done. I really should have elaborated more.

I suppose those 3 abortions she had in the late 80's have made her somewhat jaded.

From the time Palin was elected until Knowles bill was passed, no rapes were reported in Wasilla, so it is entirely possible Palin was unaware of the policy.

Also the policy was not unusual, rape kits are a medical procedure administered by medical personnel, medical procedures are routinely charged to the victim. Assault victims are typically charged for ambulance rides, hospital stays and all medical costs. It is probably happening in many of your towns right now.

Unknown said...

Michael,

Nice try, but the Knowles bill that banned charging those who are raped was written BECAUSE ONE TOWN in Alaska was billing victims. Wassila.

Also, you suggestion that there were no rapes during this time doesn't jive with the fact that the Police Chief in Wassilla stated that making this change meant that the taxpayers would have to now come up with about $14k per year.

And a rape kit is not a purely medical procedure. I've done them and I know. It is a very precise examinination for the sole purpose of collecting evidence. Billing the victim of rape would be like billing murder victims for all the work done by CSI people.

Michael, as time goes by, more facts about this and other issues come forward. And the evidence continues to build that Palin didn't just probably know about this practice, but she most assuredly knew.

This thread started 4 days ago and every day, the title of this thread keeps getting more and more accurate.

I gave you a link, Mark, I am not suggesting their were no rapes, the FBI and the Town of Wasilla reported their were no rapes. If you know otherwise I suggest you file a report with them.

And the evidence continues to build that Palin didn't just probably know about this practice, but she most assuredly knew.

Because you say so?

And a rape kit is not a purely medical procedure. I've done them and I know. It is a very precise examinination for the sole purpose of collecting evidence. Billing the victim of rape would be like billing murder victims for all the work done by CSI people.

But CSI people are paid by state to do their thing, and don't charge their clients, ever. Medical personnel usually do. For the record, I agree with you and think the state should pick up the tab. My point is the practice is not unusual, it was policy in towns across the lower 48 also at the time, and it is absurd to accuse Palin of "ordering the police" to do it or trying to paint her as some kind of monster for a practice she may not even have been aware of.

Michael,
You cite a self described "conservative" web site as an arbiter of truth?

Please spare me.

I suspect that FBI data that this site cites is that there were no convictions during this time in Wassilla. But in a town with a police chief who thinks rape victims should pay for such kits, it makes perfect sense that there would be no convictions.

I am fully aware that there is a widespread misinformation campaign from these kinds of people (Right wing web sites). When I suggested that the evidence is growing that the title of this thread gets more accurate every day, I was referring to that evidence that comes from the reality based community.

I grew up in a small town in North Dakota, about twice the size of Wasilla. In a town that size, if you are quoted in a newspaper, that is a huge event that everyone knows about. Therefore, just to humor the repugs for a moment, if palin somehow managed to be a good mayor and somehow did not know about this policy, then she would have found out about it when the police cheif was quoted in the paper. Did she order the "rape the victim again so we can pay less taxes" policy changed? No, instead she ordered a new sports arena for the tax payers to fund. She is worse than scum.

While michael may have linked to a conservative blog, Ivy's evidence comes from the Kos. Arbiter of truth? Ha! Funny how both sides bleat louder and louder that they base their clearly emotional reactions on reality, and both sides blame the opposition for engaging in smear tactics and misinformation. Such is politics. If you think you're part of some higher truth-based movement, you're only kidding yourselves.

How does one get to be a moron like you? Do you have to be born stupid or do you learn as you go?
I'm just asking a question.

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

What? Your comments aren't even making sense anymore. Listen, this rumor's been debunked. If you want to keep it up with the nonsensical insults, that's fine, but let this whole "rape kit" smear go.

okay okay first of all if you are gonna talk about my town please please spell it right it is WASILLA many of you keep spelling it wrong and i just want to clear some things up were not really that small of a town maybe small population but very wide spread now maybe not the city limits but as the whole town goes. and some one said somthing about being quoted in the news paper as a huge thing really it isnt at least not here most people dont care. the people of this town and pretty much all of alaska have a differnt way of life than any where i have ever been in the states. compleatly differnt mind set for the most part. to tell the truth it is compleatly possiable that she didnt know about it. not saying she did or didnt. i mean have u herd about ted stevens and the charges brought aginst him if he could keep that knowlege from everyone im sure things could have been kept from her maybe she didnt know cause she got bypassed because they know she would dissagree but who knows but personally i know her and i doubt she would agree with somthing like this and she was a good mayor and great governor that is a fact. and off the subject i hate her daughter bristol i went to school with her and it sucked. also i suck at spelling so im sorry lol

The American people should know that George W. Bush is not only a war criminal: for example, he is also a hate-crime criminal.

George W. Bush had better stop committing hate crimes.

“What did you think of that NAACP anti-Bush race-baiting ad in 2000? You know, the one that practically said Bush was responsible for the dragging-to-death-behind-a-truck murder of a black man just because he didn’t sign a hate crimes bill several years after the man’s death” (Posted by Aaron. Retrieved December 11, 2008, from http://www.metafilter.com/14860/).

ON THE TOPIC OF HATE CRIME(S):

George W. Bush hates black people (indicated at http://andrewyu-jenwang.blogspot.com/2008/12/andrew-yu-jen-wang-responds-to-stokely.html).

“Sean Penn accuses Bush of ‘criminal negligence’” (Retrieved December 11, 2008, from http://www.deadlykatrina.com/?p=115). Thus, Sean Penn believes that George W. Bush was at fault, criminally, relative to the Katrina disaster.

“Had the residents of New Orleans been white Republicans in a state that mattered politically, instead of poor blacks in city that didn’t, Bush’s response surely would have been different. Compare what happened when hurricanes Charley and Frances hit Florida in 2004. Though the damage from those storms was negligible in relation to Katrina’s, the reaction from the White House was instinctive, rapid, and generous to the point of profligacy. Bush visited hurricane victims four times in six weeks and delivered relief checks personally. Michael Brown of FEMA, now widely regarded as an incompetent political hack, was so responsive that local officials praised the agency’s performance.”

“The kind of constituency politics that results in a big life-preserver for whites in Florida and a tiny one for blacks in Louisiana may not be racist by design or intent. But the inevitable result is clear racial discrimination. It won’t change when Republicans care more about blacks. It will change when they have more reason to care.”

Jacob Weisberg. (2005, September 7). An Imperfect Storm . . . How race shaped Bush’s response to Katrina. Slate. Retrieved December 7, 2008, from http://www.slate.com/?id=2125812&nav=tap2/

“And I’m sorry, but anyone who doesn’t think race has anything to do with the way things have gone down in New Orleans is really beyond help. Like my man Big Sexy said: ‘Do you think folks woulda been left out like that if this had happened in Vermont?’ A complete and utter disgrace” (Posted by Jackie Chiles. Retrieved December 7, 2008, from http://aofg.blogs.com/the_airing_of_grievances/2005/09/kanye_west_.html).

Assuming that George W. Bush had in fact been criminally negligent relative to the Katrina disaster, would Bush be responsible for hate crime(s)?

“One of those very least were George Bush’s personal complicity in the death (murder to be precise) of my friend Margie Schoedinger[,] [an African-American woman,] in September of 2003. Determining the exact whereabouts and contacts of [then] president-elect George Bush on September 21 thru 22, 2003, should be entirely lacking in difficulty” (Leola McConnell (Nevada Progressive Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in 2010). Retrieved November 29, 2008, from http://leolaforussenate.blogspot.com/2008/02/leola-mcconnell-for-us-senate.html).

Does George W. Bush’s murder of Margie Schoedinger constitute a hate crime?

“A woman in Texas who filed a lawsuit against the president for rape and torture[,] [Margie Schoedinger,] was found shot to death. It was ruled a suicide. No one is investigating. Bush reportedly dated the woman in high school and speculation is that he was using the woman as his sex slave because he is above the law” (John Kaminski (author of “America’s Autopsy Report,” a collection of his Internet essays published on hundreds of websites around the world). (No date listed). Why We Need Martial Law . . . Criminal government is destroying America; military must step in to restore Constitution. serendipity.li. Retrieved December 10, 2008, from http://www.serendipity.li/wot/jk_on_martial_law.htm).

Do George W. Bush’s rape and torture of Margie Schoedinger constitute hate crimes?

“I believe that George W. Bush hates black people. Through secret government machinations, he caused Hurricane Katrina to form and aimed it at New Orleans on purpose, just so he could wipe out lots of poor blacks. I also believe that before the hurricane hit, he snuck into New Orleans and stole the keys to every school bus in the city to make evacuation of poor people impossible” (Janet M. Stroble. (2006, April 12). Now I Believe. http://www.military.com/. Retrieved November 26, 2008, from http://www.military.com/opinion/0,15202,94064,00.html).

If George W. Bush intentionally did what Janet M. Stroble indicated, would Bush have committed hate crimes against countless black people?

“I believe that George W. Bush hates Moslems. All that garbage about freedom, democracy, and the right to vote is a pollution of their culture. I believe that George W. Bush hates immigrants. There were a lot of immigrants working in the World Trade Center and George W. Bush didn’t warn them ahead of time” (Janet M. Stroble. (2006, April 12). Now I Believe. http://www.military.com/. Retrieved November 26, 2008, from http://www.military.com/opinion/0,15202,94064,00.html).

In that George W. Bush hates immigrants and deliberately failed to warn them ahead of time as indicated by Janet M. Stroble: would Bush accordingly be responsible for hate crimes relative to racial minorities who were harmed?

“Did Kanye West[’]s [comment], [‘]George Bush Hates Black People[’][,] get his mother killed?” (Retrieved October 18, 2008, from http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread364428/pg1).

There is a discussion at http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread364428/pg1 relating to whether President George W. Bush murdered Kanye West’s mother—Ms. Donda West.

Did President George W. Bush, who hates black people, murder Kanye West’s mother in the heat of raging racism? Somebody indicated that although the president of the United States is monitored by the Secret Service, he certainly can meet with one or more persons where his conversations are not intercepted and secretly “order a hit” on someone or order the murder of someone.

If George W. Bush did murder Kanye West’s mother, would it constitute a hate crime?

GEORGE W. BUSH MURDERED A JEW!

“George W. Bush murdered the Jewish former Senator—Paul Wellstone” (Retrieved December 10, 2008, from http://andrewyu-jenwang.blogspot.com/2008/12/senator-paul-wellstone-assassinated-by.html). This Internet site has a lot of information indicating that George W. Bush murdered Wellstone.

“Bush’s visit to Israel is under the guise of Middle East peace. You gotta be kidding me! Bush is THE MASTER ARCHITECT of Middle East war, not peace. . . . Bush didn’t go to Israel because he likes Israelis or like Jews, nope, he went there because he hates them. He went there to spread his message of doom, war, pain and death” (Storm Bear. “‘We have a president who was selected rather than elected. He stole the presidency through family ties, arrogance and intimidation, employing Republican operatives to exercise the tactics of voter fraud by disenfranchising thousands of blacks, elderly Jews and other minorities’” (Barbra Streisand at BarbraStreisand.com. Retrieved November 26, 2008, from http://mindprod.com/politics/election.html).

“A new book out today quotes George W. Bush back in 1993 as saying: ‘You know what I’m gonna tell those Jews when I get to Israel, don’t you Herman? I’m telling ‘em they’re all going to hell’” (Posted by Terry Olson. (2006, September 5). The anti-Semite and the agnostic: George W. Bush and Karl Rove. OlsonOnline. “But now the multibillion dollar legal action for damages by two Holocaust survivors against the Bush family, and the imminent publication of three books on the subject are threatening to make Prescott Bush’s business history an uncomfortable issue for his grandson, George W. . . .” (Retrieved November 2, 2008, from http://sci.tech-archive.net/Archive/sci.med.cardiology/2004-09/2146.html).

Assuming that George W. Bush did in fact murder the Jewish former Senator—Paul Wellstone, would Bush have committed a hate crime? Bush would have “purposefully” (criminal-law terminology) murdered Wellstone. Wellstone’s Jewish wife and Jewish daughter also died in the plane crash. Bush would have “knowingly” (criminal-law terminology) murdered Wellstone’s wife and daughter. However, would Bush’s murders of Wellstone’s Jewish wife and Jewish daughter also have constituted hate crimes?
